This Fermod closure model, reference 521, is one of the flagship references of the manufacturer Fermod. It is perfect for extra-thickness doors, but is also suitable for recessed doors. This reference is delivered with a key lock (which distinguishes it from the 520 model). Made in France, the Fermod 521 handle and lock closure system offers manufacturing quality faithful to the reputation of its manufacturer. This model can benefit from an optional handle with "bioprotection" treatment, a system to prevent the development of harmful micro-organisms. The 521 automatic closures have a zinc-dichromated steel mechanism (unlike the High Performance stainless steel model). The Fermod 521 closing system benefits from an interior punch release mechanism which ensures total safety in the event of accidental closure.

How can I be sure that the Fermod closure is compatible with my fridge installation?
The 521 systems are adaptable to the Fermod 521 and 540 range. When used on extra-thick doors, the closing system adapts from 27 to 213 mm (manufacturer data).
How to mount/replace your Fermod 521 closure?
All Fermod models are delivered to you with a detailed explanatory assembly diagram. When replacing an old handle of the same reference, you should not have any significant difficulty. However, the current model having undergone a technical modification, please note that this model is not compatible with the old Fermod 520/521 models (with black roller and strike plate without inscription).
