BITZER CO2 Subcritical Semi-Hermetic Reciprocating Compressors with Cascade Application Range
These BITZER semi-hermetic piston compressors are designed specifically for use in a cascade system, where condensation is carried out by another refrigeration unit. Their versatility manifests itself in an extended application range for the Type 1 engine, covering operating temperatures from -50°C to -15°C, ideal for R744A (CO2) refrigerant.
It is important to note that performance is subject to specific conditions, as indicated in the characteristic curves, with a maximum condensation temperature of +15°C.
These compressors are supplied with suction and discharge valves, electronic protection, an IP65 connection box and a set of suspensions, ensuring simplified and secure installation. They are pre-charged with Ester BSE60K oil, specifically chosen for cascade systems.
Maximum operating pressures are 30 bar low pressure (LP) and 53 bar high pressure (HP), providing reliable performance in a variety of operating conditions.
Power ratings are measured with +10K superheat for suction gases and 0K liquid subcooling, ensuring consistent and efficient performance.
